20 years ago I was diagnosed with MS and had a severe initial onset of symptoms that included amongst others, the inability to use my legs. I am now walking 9km a day and my Merrell's are with me every step of the way. When a part faulted I went to the Hobart Store and had one of the most pleasant sales experiences of my life. Nothing was too much trouble for Evie. 1. The sale needed to be found and she managed it somehow. It was hiding behind my husbands in purchase history and God knows I would NEVER have found it. 2. We needed to purchase items from the credit given at the last buy and her and Zoe were absolutely amazing in their ability to read and question what we needed, and 3. Evie gave me advice on what I should look for in a shoe with my long list of interesting medical and physical requirements which include heat affectation, ankle instability, weather and terrain questions, limb weakness and sensory issues. The issue was resolved seamlessly and graciously. Just as a sidenote, there is an extra wide fitting, that enables me freedom for my toes (finally!!!), look for it wide feeters! The incredible quality of Merrell merchandise is perfectly matched in their staffs personalities and knowledge. Thanks for making my walking year ahead the best it ever has been Evie and Zoe :)

On Monday I jumped on my motorcycle for a two day trip. Unfortunately, I forgot to pack some shoes. I visited Merrell shop in Hobart mall and met Ezra. Great young man and has wonderful personality. Ezra went to a lot of trouble and was able to accommodate my needs. I purchased shoe and went for my first of many walks. The shoes fit my feet extremely well. As I've only had the shoes for one day it's difficult to give an analysis of their long term view. With this being said I purchased my first pair in Scotland Edinburgh and had these pair for years

I recently visited the Merrell store in Hobart while on a trip from Canberra, and I had an absolutely wonderful experience. It happened to be during a sale, and I found the shoes I was looking for. The staff member working there, a short-haired Asian woman, was incredibly friendly and professional, even though the store was quite busy. She was managing everything on her own, moving around to assist multiple customers effortlessly. Despite the rush, she made sure to provide excellent service. She even went the extra mile by loosening the shoelaces for me, making it easier to try them on. When I thanked her, she responded with a heartfelt “Thank YOU!” which left such a positive impression. This was genuinely one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this store and its amazing staff!
